LAF - Yea GGR is supreme, probably the best ever film about sales, about as raw and realistic as it gets. Baldwin - ''PUT the coffee down, coffee is for closers'' ''First prize this month - a Cadillac, second prize - a set of steak knives, third prize - you're fired''

That was Spacey's breakout role. He must have looked around at the other cast members at the readthrough and shat himself.

Tremendous film and play.

Glengarry Glen Ross. Mainly ensemble. But take your pick from Lemmon, Pyrce, Pacino, Spacey, Arka, Harris (Fuck you!!!). Alex Baldwin makes a cameo and eats up the screen. Oh man, what a film.

A bit off on a tangent but the mention of a Yakuza reminded me of the brilliant blind Zatoichi movies

Re: Supporting roles in movies
ridley does something missing in most films now, making characters likable. especially in this film, garcia's role and what ultimately happens to him

Miike - Cheers, I read the storyline, but couldn't remember if it was actually any good or not, think I'll give it (another) go.

it's about two cops (michae douglas & andy garcia) who arrest a yakuza member and then escort him back to japan. I loved it, but haven't seen it for a while. ridley scott directs

BRANDED - Good shout on Fox, and Collateral was a brilliant film, the nightclub scene was superb with Cruise playing Vince.

Black Rain - Not seen it since it come out and can't remember anything about it, is it worth another watch?

One of my favourite ever films Sarge, good hit.

Too lazy to see if already done but Doc in back to the future.

Otherwise one of our own takes some beating in my favorite ever film.

Nurse Rachet in one flew over the cuckoo's nest.
